From August through to the end of October, one of the most popular fish to target is redfish. This species is known by several names, including red drum, channel bass, puppy drum, and red. One other moniker, spottail bass, is a reference to one of the defining features of redfish: Each one has one or more distinctive black spots located near the tail. Redfish is a popular species among American anglers: It's a fun fish to catch, and it's also favored for its pleasantly mild flavor, which is suited to such a wide variety of seasonings and recipes. Younger, smaller redfish are preferred to the larger ones, because the older red drum can be firmer in texture and more strongly flavored. This is a versatile, healthy protein that is almost as much fun to cook and eat as it its to reel in!

What's the size of your group? While many charter boats are only able to host up to six anglers at a time, we are able to offer greater flexibility. Our fleet includes five charter boats—all safe, comfortable, and well-maintained—and we can accommodate groups large or small.

Fishing Charters for 1 to 6 Anglers

If your group is on the smaller side, with up to six people, we have two boats perfect for your deep sea fishing trip: Book the Bollweevil or the Water Dog, either of which are able to comfortably accommodate groups of six or fewer guests. Selecting a smaller boat for your fishing excursion is the more budget-friendly option, and you can have just as much fun on one of our more compact vessels as on the larger ones. The Water Dog can even take you out for extended fishing trips of 10 to 12 hours!

Charter Boats for Up to 18 Anglers

If you're planning to go fishing with a larger number of friends or family, we also have three boats capable of hosting up to 18 people: Book Fairwater II, Tradewinds, or South Wind for the fishing charter experience of a lifetime! (Please note that with our larger charter boats, there's a base price for up to 10 people, with another 10% per additional passenger.) There's nothing like taking the whole family, all your friends, or the entire team out for a shared fishing adventure. Our large charter fishing boats are great for ensuring that nobody has to be left behind!
