Half-Day Fishing Charters in Gulf-Shores, Alabama

Our 6-hour fishing trip, also known as a "half-day trip", appeals to a broad range of people.  Everyone from first-time fishermen (or groups with kids) to seasoned anglers can enjoy a half-day trip on the Gulf of Mexico.  Our six-hour Gulf Shores fishing charters are great for the following reasons:

-- There's plenty of time for your group to experience the thrill of deep sea fishing, including both trolling and bottom fishing.  We typically troll the surface to and from our bottom fishing reef destination, to keep things fun and interesting for the whole trip.  This also provides lots of opportunities to hook different species of fish.

-- Six-hour fishing trips get your further out into the Gulf, allowing us to enter waters that have been fished less frequently than areas closer to shore.  This improves your chances of catching the BIG fish you're probably dreaming of, for a truly memorable offshore fishing experience!

-- Half-day fishing trips provide some balance to your day.  Your group will have time to do something else, either before or after fishing.  If you're a morning person, you can do your fishing in the first half of the day, then spend the afternoon relaxing, having a fish fry, or enjoying a different activity.  Or if you prefer, you can have a leisurely morning (maybe sleep in late), go deep sea fishing in the afternoon, and still get back in time for a delicious evening meal at a local restaurant.  The choice is yours!

-- Six-hour fishing is in the sweet spot.  With shorter trips, you can't get out to the less-fished waters, and you may find that your time on the boat is winding down just when you're hitting your stride. On the other hand, an all-day trip requires more of a commitment in time and budget.  A half-day fishing trip is that "just right" compromise, for many groups.

-- On our 6-hour trips, you can target different reef species and troll for pelagic fish, as well.  The types of fish you might encounter on a 6-hour Gulf of Mexico fishing excursion include red snapper, triggerfish, king mackerel, bonita, Spanish mackerel, vermillion snapper, white snapper, grouper, wahoo, amberjack, cobia, and scamp.  There's always something new to discover!

Our fishing trips are fun for people of all ages and experience!  Our experienced captain and crew are committed to providing an exciting-- but safe-- day for everyone in your group.  We're happy to host groups with children, and we cultivate a family-friendly atmosphere on our boats.  

Speaking of the boats, we have four to choose from-- all clean, comfortable, and well-maintained, with the amenities that help ensure you have a pleasant time on the water.  We can accommodate groups of up to 18 people on our two larger boats, so whatever the size of your group, we've got your covered.  

All bait, license, and tackle are provided by us.  Just bring a cooler for your fish and a few essentials for your comfort-- food and drinks, hats, sunglasses, and plenty of water to drink.  If you have beginners in your group, our experienced crew are happy to help them, step-by-step.  We do everything in our power to give your group an excellent fishing experience.
